A year or so after Revenge of the Sith George Lucas announced that a new Clone Wars animated series (which was going to be in 3D instead of 2D) was in development and he was still working on Star Wars: Underworld the first SW Live-Action TV Series. While the latter never got out of development Hell the former was released and while the first season wasn't that big of a hit Lucas kept it going and the series was eventually a huge success.
Soon after the Disney Buyout the company cancelled the Clone Wars and began working to move the Prequel Trilogy more and more into the background if not outright ignoring it with many higher-ups taking as many jabs against the Prequels as they felt they could get away with. Then a year after The Force Awakens with MASSIVE backlash to the apparent destruction of Coruscant and many feeling that TFA was just a lazy retread of A New Hope Disney started working the Prequel elements BACK into the series.
Today there are MANY references to the Prequel Trilogy from small tips of the hat to shout-outs to them with a strange sense of respect and apparent love for those films. Take a look at Din getting a Naboo Starfighter for his new ship in the Book of Boba Fett. At first Din sees it as a piece of junk not worth the money but at the end of the episode he comes to love it for how awesome it is and says "Wizard" a reference to the time Anakin said it in The Phantom Menace.
We've gone from the series trying to pretend that the Prequels being treated as an embarrassment that should be forgotten to being treated with the same level of respect as the Original Trilogy or the Thrawn Trilogy. There is a ton of merch sold in stores that has Prequel Characters, moments and quotes all over them and thanks to the memes the films are quoted as often as the Original Trilogy
By contrast it has been almost 5 years since the end of Rise of Skywalker and the most we've gotten to either a follow-up to the Disney Sequel Trilogy is two run of the mill Lego Movies BOTH of which were more about the Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy then TDST. I can only think of one reference to TDST in any of the shows which was the hint that Grogu's blood was needed to create a Snoke.
Maybe there's more but I can't really think of anything.
Also during D23 last year when Disney was showing off their introduction video they showed images from Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars... But the SW images were of ONLY the Mandalorian. There was exactly Zero references of TDST. No mention of Rey, Kylo, Finn, Poe, The Resistance or the First Order. They talked about Willow, Lando and new MCU shows and movies coming out and showed their plans for the next phase of Marvel but TDST, nothing.
And most damning of all there has been Nothing TDST related released anywhere in stores. I've seen merch being sold for Raya and the Last Dragon which, I will remind everyone, was a Box Office Bomb and critically mixed but apparently it has a audience because it's kinda everywhere now and has been added to the Disney Princess Series aka Disney's most Popular Series.
Raya was on a CAMPBELLS CANS FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!
But TDST? Nothing. So I must ask, has Disney given up on TDST and Abandoned it?
Again TCW was released 3 years after the Prequel Trilogy ended and it wasn't the only Prequel tie-in that was made and there was others in the works. The unmade Boba Fett game, Underworld and like a million other CW's projects that were either already being made or were in production. And the ONLY reason some of those were canned wasn't due to popular demand but because Disney decided to just throw that part of Star Wars away along with the Original EU. Both of which lasted only a year before they started bringing both back. I'm honestly surprised that Disney has yet to announce that they're planning to bring back 1313 or are working on a Thrawn Trilogy given how much they're working to restore the parts of Star Wars they deemed worthless.
But they're own Trilogy, they seemed to have just tossed aside and I have to admit, I'm kinda against that. Now you know me I'm NOT a fan of TDST but it is a part of Star Wars and should be given something or at least a better exit then what it got.
I've mentioned before that I suspect that Disney is planning to just reboot TDST out of the series given that time travel is a thing and with the 50th anniversary only 5 years away I gotta wonder if that is ow a question of when rather then if?

Re: Has Disney Abandoned their Star Wars Sequel Trilogy?
I'm still seeing old toys for the sequel trilogy on overstock store shelves. Even marked down to a few bucks they can't get rid of them. Just for myself I have a frankly embarrassing amount of Star Wars merch (ship models, action figures, t-shirts, jewelry...) but never saw anything for that trilogy I even slightly wanted.
I would have bought minis of the new Star Destroyer variants if they put them out though, those were cool.
