Magic: The Gathering to release Doctor Who series

This is not a joke, or if it is it's a very elaborate one. I haven't bought any magic cards in a long time but I am tempted just to see what they have.

That artwork for the Thirteenth Doctor is certainly something.
Even more so compared to the much more sensible one for the Tenth and Farewell. Then I guess they didn't want a ruckus by having a depiction of David Tennant that's not sufficiently hot enough.

They already did Warhammer 40k, a few sets of Dungeons and Dragons, and Lord of the Rings. The MTG metaverse is getting pretty crowded.

Fallout (Commander Precons), Assassin's Creed (Commander Precons), and Final Fantasy (Draft set) have also been announced.
