Looks like the Stargate franchise isn't quite dead after all.
As long as this isn't as bad as Enterprise or Stargate Universe I don't mind.
There'll be more info to follow, look forward to seeing some of your thoughts and opinions.

That was a total surprise, unfortunately reading further dashed my short-lived hopes. It's a ten episode webseries that comes in ten minute increments. I guess the best case scenario is that this and the "Stargate Command" platform the series is meant to advertise for will draw enough attention for the suits to consider more substantive new content.

You're right and like you said, this format could work for the moment in telling a decent story and attracting new attention to the franchise.
