Is the 2022 Hellraiser "Tamed" When Compared to the First Film? (Seriously NSFW)

Nope!
There's no doubt that the original Hellraiser set the standard for gore in film but the funny thing is there isn't all that much gore in it. When you break it down there are only 3 scenes that are excessively gory, Frank's body being rebuilt and the "Jesus Whipped" scene are about as gory as the film gets.
I bring this up because I keep seeing comments on the 2022 reboot of the film complaining how little gore there is in the film and I'm like "Did we watch the same film?!"
There is a scene where Pinhead sticks a needle in a girls throat and we see the needle INSIDE THE THROAT AND SEE IT MOVED AROUND! This is soon followed by the pore girl getting ripped apart by chains. Another scene later shows us a Cenobite also getting ripped apart by chains. The human villain is shown with a giant piece of metal sticking out of his chest and we see it fall out of his chest and then see the hole getting repaired only for him to get implied through the chest again.
And the last scene of the film is the human villain being turned into a Cenobite which involves his skin getting pealed off and this is all shown to us in graphic detail for a solid minute.
On the whole there's actually MORE Gore in this film then the original.
I normally don't talk about this sort of thing but this has been bugging me for a while now because I have to wonder if anyone who complained about the film actually saw the damn thing.
