Could a Force Sensitive Sense a Change in Time?

Star Wars has time travel and it's been hinted at a number of times from people at Lucas Film and Disney that there maybe an in-universe reboot that would resulted in the Disney Sequel Trilogy being set in a Alternate Universe but create a new timeline.

I'm watching Chuck's re-uploaded review of Yesterday's Enterprise in which Guinan is able to sense that something is off about, well, everything and it got me wondering. Assuming that Star Wars is rebooted in universe would someone powerful in the Force be able to sense that something is not as it should be?

I mean Jedi can see the future who's to say they can't see a split in the timeline?

Yoda probably could.

Thankfully Star Wars has stayed away from the time travel trap, and the alternate universe trap, too. It's a crutch for lazy writers far more often than it's used for good stories, and even the good stories end up just being used later to justify laziness by those who come after.

So far the only known method of timetravel has only been used twice afaik and both times it was to keep Ahsoka from dying and help her work through her Anakin/Vader daddy issues so she can finish ascending to godhood or whatever. It's not even clear you actually can change the timeline.

Star Wars: Infinity is a Star Wars AU/What If with three different stories set after key events in the Original Trilogy.

Three times, the Star Wars Lego Holiday Special is canon... I'd add something to that but I got nothing. Again they didn't change time but they kinda did I don't know that film was weird.

But with time travel in SW it's only a matter of time before it's used though. Don't know when or how but they haven't closed it off completely and the series has hinted that time can be altered it just hasn't been done yet.

I haven't seen a second time yet, still working through the firehose of new content.

The time in Rebels was explicitly not able to do that (and they were very careful with how it was shown to work), but that won't stop some future writer with stars in their eyes thinking they can break things and make a giant mess in order to tell their OMGSOAWESOME Ascended fanfic.

I assume they could. Like something is off in the Force. Something has changed. They may not know what exactly but they know something is different.

It be interesting if there was some sort of reboot and we see Rey ON A STAR DESTROYER and she senses something is off which results in a conflict within herself. The Sith she is in this timeline and the Jedi she is in the Prime timeline.

Or, going back the idea of the Droids not locating Obi-Wan but Obi-Wan still sensed the destruction of Alderaan and therefore sought Luke out and started his training anyway and it's Luke, alive and well, on a Rebel ship sensing that something is off after years of training under Obi-Wan and Yoda.

If I remember right that was in the same era as Tales in the comics where you had that red astromech near the beginning of New Hope being a jedi droid, Tag and Bink doing Rosencrantz & Guildenstern, Yoda doing Pulp Fiction dialogue with Mace Windu, or Garth Ennis doing a surprisingly good job telling the life experiences of a Storm Trooper.

So not something that should be considered as evidence of a Star Wars multiverse ala DC or Marvel, but more of a fun what if exploration used purely as a storytelling device.

They also weren't all that great from what I remember though it has been aaages. I do remember a very silly image of a redeemed Darth Vader at the end of one of them in all white armour.

I got an idea for what a good guy Vader would look like.
