Just curious, I think it looks interesting and I like the idea that the title character maybe this less morally grey and just a crazy person who may very well deserve the awful fate that is coming to her. Both trailers seem to hint that she doesn't actually care what happens to anyone trapped by the antagonists and is doing this more to get back at them for some past wrong. Hell her very first line isn't about her trying to save anyone but how she's going to get off the station that she screwed over.
I'm normally a Knight in Shining Armor girl, I love my heroes being heroes even if they're all angsty and brooding. But I do like checking out heroes that are more morally questionable which we really haven't seen in a BioShock game. Sure Jack can be evil but you also have the option of playing him as completely heroic which goes for Subject Delta too. Booker did some questionable things as does Elizabeth but you get the sense they're overall good people.
But Judas, she honestly seems like a villain and there is no indication that she is doing this for any reason beyond revenge and will burn the world to get. Even the second trailer where she says she's here to set the people free she makes it clear she doesn't actually care about them, she will rip them from their fantasy regardless of the damage it will do to them.
The full tagline of the game is rather interesting, "Fix What You Broke, Or Leave It To Burn" as it again shows that Judas is not someone trying to avoid causing trouble and is pull into events beyond her control she created this situation and has the option to let it burn.
But what do you think, are you looking forward to Judas or is it just not your cup of tea?

I'd never heard of this before now. Are the people in the trailers supposed to be robots or something? They look they were designed to fall into the uncanny valley on purpose.
After the twist in Infinite that Booker and Comstock were the same guy who took different life paths I'm seeing all sorts of ways that the "you" in the tagline could be deceptive.

That's assuming this is set in the BioShock continuity. Sure there's multiverse theory but aside from the general style and gameplay (hence my In Space joke) that seems to be more of the creator's style rather then anything in relation to BioShock. I've no doubt that there will be a few Easter Eggs that reference BioShock but this will be a separate continuity as, from what I understand, Ken Levine wanted to tone things down back and go back to basics.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 10:48 am I'd never heard of this before now. Meaning no multiverse, no time travel and alternate versions of the same character fighting for his daughter. Just one psycho breaking a space station for her own reasons.

It looks like a slower Bioshock Infinite in gameplay. That's enough for me to give it a shot at the first opportunity.

I honestly wonder if the protagonist being a villain is going to end up being a spoiler. Trying to avoid the Spec Ops: The Line problem where none of the twists that made it a classic were in the marketing so almost nobody actually bought it.
Unless Judas is her actual name, then not being a villain would be more of a twist. Who names their kid Judas?
