Hazbin Hotel

So this is a fun little show. Cool art, decent action scenes, good songs, brutally frank depictions of sexual exploitation with a tiny supernatural veneer (the episode with that has a content warning), funny jokes, unfunny jokes, enough swearing that watching an episode before work fucked my filter up, and my favorite depiction of Lucifer Morningstar in a long time.

If you're going to watch it fair warning it assumes you saw the pilot on YouTube.

Hm, dunno. The show's got some interesting characters, but things just don't fall into place for me. I vastely prefer Helluva Boss.

I like it. Wondering about a major plot point but not sure if spoilers in this thread are okay.

Sure. I was just trying to avoid them in the first post.

You could use

Code: Select all

to make spoilers "invisible" here. You either have to mark the text or quote the post, to see the text. If that makes you feel more comfortable.

If Flixpatrol is anything to go by, Hazbin Hotel seems to have performed well in several Muslim majority countries.

Such as Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco, Lebanon, Oman, Turkey, UAE, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Indonesia, Malaysia......... SAUDI ARABIA👀?

So, spoilers for season 1 but I'm really curious as to who could possibly be the owner of Alistair's soul.

I've only watched Sarcastic Chorus' reviews but Lilith or Eve sound like the only good possibilities.

I do mean to actually watch the show sometime if only to hear if the music is as good as he claims.

Lilith and Alastor both being missing for seven years seems like way too much of a coincidence.

I love how Vox is obsessed with Alastair while pretending not to care about him and Alastair legit doesn't care about him. Also who taught this 1930s man "here's the tea"?
