While it's a tough choice, I think I'm gonna call Comfort Eagle their best work. And not just for Short Skirt/Long Jacket, despite it being one of their best known singles. Every song there is completely unique, and catchy in a different way without ever getting irritating or repetitive; all killer, no filler.
The title track is of course the most memorable (not to mention an absolute banger), but I think my personal top three are the more low-key trilogy of Opera Singer, Commissioning a Symphony in C, and Love You Madly, not in any particular order. I feel like taken together, those three best encapsulate the musical arc of the album.
