I checked in on LegalEagel and saw that they had done an extensive breakdown on Project 2025. For anyone who is still uninformed on just HOW psychotic the long-term plans of the GOP are, give this a watch.

A reminder the GOP leadership has been taken over by religious fanatics, fascists, and those who hate anyone who isn't white as well as male.
You'd think banning porn from so many states would have gotten plenty to turn against them.
(The porn ban is actually about attacking gays and trans people but it's also about porn)

I'm a Leftist but that doesn't keep me from seeing all this Project 2025 stuff as the Conspiracy Theory it is. Pretending this is Trump's Platform even though he openly denounced it just because (this one guy is on his campaign stuff) is Conspiratorial logic, same as a right winger raving about the "World Economic Forum" or whatever.
The GOP likes the Status Quo to be relatively where it currently is. Nothing will Fundamentally change.
What Trump actually says provides more then enough reason to vote against him, spreading paranoid conspiracy theories is counter productive.

Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.

Trump is only going to do more of what he did the first time, which is bad enough.

Like presidential immunity from laws? Dude, you're the kind of guy who ran around and dismissed "Mein Kampf". There were plenty of that. Their minds changed. I sincerely hope you won't end up the same way.KuudereKun wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 6:23 amThat's literally the Logic of a Conspiracy Theorist.Nobody700 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 4:05 am OKAY THIS IS THE ONE TIME I WILL BE MEAN TO YOU!

And that's the last I'm gonna say on the Topic.
Peace Out.

Setting aside whatever Trump claims in the moment, here’s the thing. This is a proposal by the Heritage Foundation. They historically get significant percentages of their proposals through under Republican governments. For instance:
“In January 2018, DeMint was succeeded by Kay Coles James as the foundation's president. The same month, Heritage claimed the Trump administration had by then embraced 64%, or nearly 2/3rds, of 334 proposed policies in the foundation's agenda.[66][67]”
That’s slightly higher than their historic norm (around 55% if memory serves), but that’s illustrative in itself.
Why would ANYONE believe that Trump will change substantially towards people who flatter and support him under nearly all circumstances? He’s not. He’s obviously not. Pretending otherwise is foolhardy.

I don't think conspiracy theory really works when it's fairly clear Trump doesn't have any actual people to do their jobs except the Heritage Foundation. Given Trump has made it clear his primary goal is to become President and remove any checks on his power, I don't see why he wouldn't implement all of this.KuudereKun wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 3:18 am I'm a Leftist but that doesn't keep me from seeing all this Project 2025 stuff as the Conspiracy Theory it is.
