Well motion sensor gun mounts would be nice. But we do have plenty of wild life walking around the yard. Certainly don't want to find dead animals every morning. Definitely don't want to kill our pet black squirrel. His name is Norton.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 1:47 amI was thinking perhaps something more draconian.McAvoy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2024 12:29 amWell cameras and motion sensor lights might deter that. Or use my welding skills and put a case over the converter.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 2:21 amYou could come up with some sort of security apparatus and sell it at large. If everybody bought it then it would deter criminals and it would just be the regular houses and the security firm and everybody would be fulfilled.McAvoy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 12, 2024 2:00 am Today my Dad's van got hit robbed of its catalytic converter. Those of you not familiar, there are people out there that are stealing these as they are valuable in scrap. So they come in at night or broad daylight and cut the thing out. They are efficient and quick about it.
My Dad doesn't live in a bad area. But the bad area has been creeping up for years.
Tomorrow he is having his handyman install motion detection lights and cameras. He is now even tailing about buying a gun now.

Re: What's Going on with Everyone's Lives
I got a lot of overtime this week.
Like a dog at a mountain stream I lapped up 14.7 hours.
Also I did 75 minutes of stairs today at the gym. More than I've ever done, especially all in one session.

Noice, what's it about?
Science Fiction is a genre where anything can happen. Just make sure what happens is enjoyable for yourself and your audience.

I am planning a trip to New England next spring. I should be able to manage it for less than $2,000, less than $1,500 if I'm lucky!

It's a YA paranormal romance about a girl who turns into a sea monster at night. Only upon revisiting it have I realized that there's real potential for an allegory about autistic masking there.
