Y'all realize the private equity buyout was in 1999, right? This is not an urgent new development.

...

Okay, point taken (seriously, I am clueless, right now).

Still, this is feeling like the optimal time to get out of Dodge. I've got some leads I'm following, so here's hoping.

OK. So some advertisement.

Aviation Industry is way undermanned right now. If you have a mechanical ability and I know some here have a disability of some kind, they could use you. I work in it the. industry.

You don't have to work a plane on your feet. You can also work in a factory setting manufacturing an item or more. All it requires is the A&P License. Airframe and Powerplant License. If you are disabled or fiancially limited, you can definitely get grants to help you. You could open up and work with NASA for example.

That being said, no garantees, but if you get that license it opens up a whole lot for you. Getting paid real money, benefits and all of that.

End of advertisement. And no I wasn't paid for this. Just a industry no one really thinks about. Believe me I know.
I got nothing to say here.

The FAA giving out licenses is the only thing that is Federal. You getting hired by let's American or FedEx or UPS to work on their planes is out of any anti-DEI jurisdiction Trump thinks he has. It would be no different than any other company.

Though I am sure Trump would try if he found out about something.

Back to what I was saying. It really is just getting your license and having a heart beat. Yes, you have to go through school which is about 20 months of classes and a total of seven tests, three written, two oral and two practical. So you have to complete those in the first place.
I got nothing to say here.

I'm still looking for a better job. Got four interviews and three Nos in the latest round. Going to hear from the latest one by Friday.

Recently my depression has gained the upper hand, in addition to existing stuff like my root canals and the political situation. Things that I usually enjoy bring no comfort and my motivation is suffering under a terrible sense of futility that seems to infuse everything I strive for. I got my new medication dosage increased but I'm not sure that it's helping at all, and I've been through most of the other medications. I did nasal ketamine infusions, I did the thing with the magnets, and I'm running out of options for treatment. =/

Well, Fuzzy have you tried not being depressed? That might help.

Just a joke. Don't kill me.
