A thought on Kino's Journey

Post by MsSusan21122 »

Does Kino remind anyone else of That One Goth Chick In High School who tried way too hard at being jaded and detached? Kino seems like she's one small step away from "accidentally" dropping her copy of Heavy Metal in the hallway.

Do you mean the character or the show itself?

More the character but I suppose it could apply to the show as well. The problem may lie with the actor who voices Kino using the same drawl that the Goth Chick uses to declare trigonometry cryptofascist as much as it is the nihilistic theme of the show.
