I've always love getting a reaction out of people, still do (my current favourite thing is giving attention to any cats I pass by outside, be they indoor or out, they're so used to be ignored by people that it blows their mind seeing someone interacting with them and being nice).

Back when I played BF1942 I really got into making troll accounts to piss ppl off being weird on the big forums built around the game (Also branched off into messing on other forums, like the Muchmusic forums, which alongside a couple other guys were the reason why they removed image linking there). Same with Everquest when I had a newbie pk that would go around beating up ppl on a Troll until I eventually would get the entire zone chasing after me furious at the disruption I'd caused.

Thing was I always did it in good spirit, not wanting to genuinely hurt people unless they were really huge assholes against me and knew my limits. Eventually in most mediums I'd mellow and ease into being a typical eccentric member and you could say I just grew out of trolling as I got older Same with the RL buddy of mine who I did it with that was rather mean spirited about it too, but now looks back on that kind of trolling he did with tinge of shame (Like on EQ I'd kill newbies and then leave em alone for a good hour or two before I'd kill em again, he'd corpse camp them until they logged).
