I continue talking about building a setting in Dungeons and Dragons.

I took a few weeks off, but I got something in the mail today that prompted me to post.
A few months ago I sent a letter to my state's junior Senator Marco Rubio, AKA "Little Marco" on the topic of refugees and my concern for their safety.
Today I got a response letter from his office.

I continue to write about Dungeons and Dragons, but I have decided to drastically rework how I write about it with much shorter entries.
Nobody has the time to read 2800 words by some rando like me. In that spirit I write about "Kobolds".

I decide to write about "Leadership" in fiction by pointing to instances in which Captain America has been written well and an instance in which he has been written poorly. I could have written a small book on this topic, but I settled for this quick and easy blurb.

I decided to edit "The Terrible Old Man" one of HP Lovecraft's more accessible stories. Mostly I just get rid of all his weird old time spelling and his amateur use of the word "very".
I am able to do this because all of his work is in the public domain. More stuff should be in the public domain so that ideas can disseminate to the masses and be explored or pulled apart by more people. If you disagree, I respect your opinion, but I continue to disagree.

Continuing from last week's discussion about Kobolds in Dungeons and Dragons I decide to do a contrasting discussion about Wild Elves.
I think that "Elves are kind of racist" is a trope that goes underused these days and one of the few negative qualities they are allowed to have that makes them more interesting.
