Don't feel too envious of the folks that can stay off the forum for weeks on end -- the only record you need to focus on is your personal best.

For real, though, this time, I'm taking another break from the forums. Probably longer than last time. You can all go ahead and rejoice.

I referred to his behavior as idiocy, he's throwing a snit.

If it's just 16 hours it's not a break.

For real this time, I'm feeling... unsettled here again. Making no progress to do better, so I'm just gonna withdraw for a while, and stick to my guns this time. I don't want to make others uncomfortable, as contradictory as that might seem from me, but it's the truth.

So, see ya... whenever.

Okay then, is it a safe time to come back? I know I'd been having difficulties here, a lot of them which I was doing myself, but I'm always trying to do better, and the latest time... wasn't turning out so well. What about this time, my... fifth or sixth chance? Or am I just fooling myself? Should I keep staying away? It does seem as if every time I start to get comfortable here, something happens that upends it, and then I blow it.

Nobody except you makes you leave, nobody except you makes you come back. Nobody calls attention to when you leave or return except you either. Neither Chuck, nor the admin/mods have banned you, so despite what any of their personal opinions of you might be they have clearly not felt you have broken any rules and thus are as welcome here as anybody else.

But people are going to react to the things you say and do. If they are doing so within the rules of the forum then you are just going to have to accept that. If you prod then you will be prodded back. If this is leading to things that aren't healthy for you then it is on you to distance yourself as is appropriate.
