Is that not a reasonable conclusion when dealing with a nihilist and he speaks on political matters?

How exactly am I supposed to continue if you don't quote properly? Your last response was such a long, rambling sequence of paragraphs that I had no idea what specific points you were supposed to be responding to. Just edit your post with proper quotes. IT IS NOT HARD.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:47 pm @SSJGodGoku So if you wanna continue the debate, THEN YOU PICK IT UP. It's not that hard. I really don't care. But if it bothers you so much that I dare to commit such an abominable offense as to think Goku doesn't solo whole fictional verses out there, then you try and convince me. I do sometimes wonder what would happen if I actually did it. Because I couldn't care less about this debate, but it's clear my views bother you and you really want to continue it. So give me incentive, please.

While it gave me a good laugh, his question for reassurance is actually fairly sensible. Either you take the stance that Yuka is indeed a nihilist and so everything he suggest to improve the world, is either going against his nihilism and is thus of questionable value or you take the stance that Yuka is not a nihilist at all, making pretty much anything he says questionable, as it comes from a source that completely fails at understanding itself, undermining his point of view and his very personality. These variants make your statement target Yuka, obviously, as he thusly ain't particularly considerate, as he, obviously, does not consider his own part in the game he playsBridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 7:07 pmSlash Gallagher wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 10:10 amOn mine or on his part?BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 4:47 amWell it's maybe not very considerateSlash Gallagher wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 8:04 pmIs that not a reasonable conclusion when dealing with a nihilist and he speaks on political matters?

Yet another point of view is that indeed SlashGallagher is inconsiderate and you are trying to say that suggesting that Yuka might not actually understand himself at all and, by extension, his entire world view thus being built on rather shackey foundations, is inconsiderate.
Layers upon layers of nuance and nuisance. Personally, I think Yuka is not a nihilist at all, but just a plain depressed personality. I suppose it's kind of a coping mechanism for whatever happened to him or someone he loved or something he thinks that happened, but either way, this point of view on himself and the world by extend, just drives him further into depression, as he can not recognize and reconcile the disparity between his obvious or pretended drive to make the world a better place and allegedly accepting that the world just is what it is. At best, it drives him into a position of apathy and depressive decline. At worst, he just ends up as one of those people, who want to see the world burn for whatever injustice they percieve the world has done to them.

i do arguiment vs argument and ad hominem vs ad hominem only if someone else intiates it. I just saw something that made no sense. i won't be bringing it up every time i fight about something with Yuka.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 8:32 pmWhile it gave me a good laugh, his question for reassurance is actually fairly sensible. Look, speculation of nihilism doesn't mean that there's no consideration for more or less beneficial conditions. Obviously there's a psychological correlation (which I don't wish to expand consideration) that's all but inevitably going to come about through the subject matter and the resulting flavor it exhumes by one.
Nihilism in a purely metaphysical context is utterly complex, and it's not our job to do the intuitive math and audit his own speculation to determine if he's contradicting himself. We know there's a huge disconnect between reasonably righteous standards and society's ability to act accordingly. Obviously there's a lot of crap in the world. Obviously people should probably benefit more. The viewpoints don't really contradict each other but do influence polar and straining ideas that provoke both nihilistic outlooks and ideas on how to improve things (and with an existential consideration thereafter), which will suggest reformatting of the original condition to varying degrees when you consider collective implications.
I just don't really think it's beyond us to look at facts one by one.
