Don't get old, kids, don't get old

I went for my annual eye test on Saturday and my optician/optometrist (please tell me below which version you prefer) said that I'm close to the age where my eyes become presbyopic.
This is when the lens in your eye loses its flexibility so it can't adjust shape to change focus any more and it happens to everyone from a certain age.
I'm also about 5 years away from getting to the age where my risk of developing glaucoma increases (and there's family history of it).
I'm also getting new glasses (I meant to do that last year since my prescription had changed enough to warrant it but life got in the way) - at least I'm picking them up next Saturday
Pro tip my friends: don't get old. Just don't get old.
