13 years is a good run for a studio. It's all the more impressive as a business case study that they could do so well without working on an original IP since Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent.

Yeah, that's a great story! It highlights the power investors and IP owners had over Telltale, which partially explains why things went down the way they did.
