SF Debris vs. Nostalgia Critic

Post by Yukaphile »

How long does Nostalgia Critic last? Notice I don't ask who wins - I think the winner is a foregone conclusion. But how long does Doug survive against Chuck? Note this is quality and debate wise, whether on their own or against each other. Should be fun. 8-)

Well, we've never seen Chuck's physical form so it's hard to say who would be the first knocked out.

I'm not talking knockout battles, but wit, quality, humor, introspection, how well you debate, and so on. Obviously in that Chuck stomps him, but I wanna know how badly? How long would Doug last against him?

Not long. Doug doesn't like doing his job anymore and is only doing it, since quite a while now, because his fans want the Nostalgia Critic and nothing else.

So, we talking on the order of five minutes? Or five seconds?

Five seconds or less. Word of warning: I am not impartial, I dislike Doug Walker.

When it comes to reviewers, of any kind, there are what i call riffers and critics. Riffers are basically comedians, they are there to make jokes and are using something for material. A critic tries to deconstruct and understand the work.

Doug is very much a riffer as he has said that a lot of the movies he's reviewed are actually worth watching, he just reviews them for the sake of jokes. Chuck is more of a critic than a riffer but he is probably as close to the middle as you can find.

Yeah I can't really imagine a format that's being suggested for a comparison between the two.

When has SF Debris ever had a platform of debate in his videos?
