I feel this is misguided. Because if Trumps attempts a coup the option of wide spread political violence against him, his administration, and those that support it needs to be on the table.

It says that you will do nonviolent protest in the streets.

It doesn't explicitly forbid being violent in other ways.

Don't worry.

America was designed to be at the last moments of the Roman Republic before unknown Barbarians destroyed all city-states and industries so the capital can fall upon itself.

The Founding Fathers weren't aware of this due to a mixture of Sparta and Ottoman culture being carefully built so Rebellial-ism could be a practiced value. Not perfect but stronger that today's Superpower whom is basically a Baby with a gun!

Just remember this goes both ways.

I used to think that Trump Derangement Syndrome wasn't real, and yet here it is. Someone genuinely believing that the man is going to launch a coup.

In case of corruption of justice, just do anarchy.

He's openly said that he might not accept election results of they go against him and that he's up for "12 more years". He's also spent the past four years defiling every rule of law and civic norm he can get his tiny hands on. Why is it so outrageous to think he might follow up on another one of his deranged whims?

He also said he could shoot a person in public and get away with it.
