My mental problems

Post by Yukaphile »

Well, I've been signed out most of the day. As a disclaimer, I want to say I generally don't do that, signed in all the time. But I've come back to observe something, and then resign out. I'll be taking a hiatus from the forums. Probably a while, I don't know how long.

I wanted to try to lay out some of my mental issues. Just to show that there has been SOME progress, like with my ARMHS worker over the last year, he pinned down my personality type. An INFP. I'm not 100% sure what the MBTI thing is, but if you look into the dark side and unhealthy vices of INFPs, you may understand me more, perhaps. Who knows, perhaps your empathy or greater wisdom could even help me come to new conclusions. I would welcome that. Really.

I have a meeting with my ARMHS worker tomorrow, honestly. Not justification. We meet every 11 AM on Wednesday and go for an hour to two hour appointments. For the longest time, lockdown has kept the two of us confined to virtual calls. Now since spring, we can meet in person after we've both had our shots. I feel like, if there's anything you feel like for then, now might be the time, maybe. It is presently 9 PM.

I have a diagnostic assessment coming up to see what's the deal with me in October. I haven't had one since the 1990s. I was diagnosed as bipolar, but frankly, as a kid, since I was lying a lot back then, I don't know HOW much stock can be put into that. I want to see if there's any changes when I go into this with better understanding and a more open mind. Dr. Islam back around 2016 thought I may have some kinda personality disorder or traits of Asperger's. October will bear that out, I think.

Well, that's it. I'm logging back out. Later.
