It had more to do with the fact that I noticed I don't pronounce Mabus at all similar to Albert Camus or Samus Aran.

Well aside from my last name which I have heard it all and spelled so badly.

My first name is a fairly common one and I have to correct too many people from pronouncing it like another name.

I had someone recently who apparently wasn't familiar with the way I spell my name and pronounced it as two words.

Long story short, The Resa is my Time Lady name now.

Ugh, English's overloading of written vowels causes so many problems. And we inherited the Germanic "ai-ei" problems that go all the way back to ancient Rome...
