Who are your picks for a crew on a Star Trek Federation/Starfleet ship? You are Captain in this scenario.
Leaving the crewmembers and ships to the prime universe.
- Ship: Stargazer NCC-82893 (Picard S2/E1) or Discovery NCC-1031-A (refit, Discovery S4)
- Executive / First Officer: Saru (Discovery [post Vaharai])
- Operations / 2nd Officer: Data (TNG/some movies)
- Sciences: Spock (TOS and movies)
- Navigation: Nog (DS9)
- Tactical (gunner/defenses): Worf (late TNG era)
- Security: Odo (DS9)
- Communications: Uhura (TOS)
- I've always thought that Comms, Tactical and Security should be distinctly different stations
- Chief Medical Officer: Culber (Discovery) He could also serve as the ship's counselor.
- Nurse / Field Medic: Kes (Voyager)
- Chief Engineer: Scotty (TOS/some movies)
- Free Agents (basically a 'do everything' officer - you have a prolem, throw [xyz] at it):
- Tom Paris (Voyager)
- Adira Tal (Discovery)
- Jadzia Dax (DS9)
- Seven of Nine (Picard era)
Something for fun - who is your crew and what is your ship?

The Phoenix. Me and myself blasting a suitable song for my warp 1 blast off when I am terminally ill.
Does that count?
Does that count?
I got nothing to say here.

Ship: USS Thunderchild (First Contact) or USS Prometheus (Voyager). No practical reason, they just look cool and have awesome names.
First officer: Kira
Second officer: Data
Science officer: Jadzia Dax
Navigation: Chekov
Tactical: Tuvok
Marines/MACO officer: Worf
Security: Odo
Communications: Hoshi Sato
Doctor: The Doctor
Engineer: La Forge
COB/SEA (why does Star Fleet not have this?): O'Brian. Or Worf's dad.

...for space is wide, and good friends are too few.

Constitution class pulled from Mothball in TNG era. (She was a tough ship and a little TNG TLC she would give other nations pause.)
First Officer/Science: Data
Chief Tactical: Malcolm Reed
Engineering: Scotty
Communications: Uhura
Doctor: Doctor Bashir

Let's assume I am on the Enterprise-D stranded in the Delta Quadranrlt but without that C4 addition the ship usually has on the warp core.
Captain Picard for captain because I think he won't get involved as much due his own strict adherence to the Prime Directive.
First officer is Chakotay. I think him and Picard will go well with each other.
Data will have the same position as he did in TNG.
O'Brian for the everyman repair guy.
Bashir as the Doctor but has EMH Voyager doctor as his #2. I think that would be interesting.
Odo for internal security. Tuvok for tactical. Believe it or not but those roles should seperate.
Paris for piloting. Probably would hate driving such a big ship.
Engineer would be B'Elanna Torres because she seems to be the most flexible if also not the most stable. She also had O'Brian.
On board councilor will be Guinian.
Lastly I am onboard fixing up and building shuttles as needed. Lonely job in a giant hangar but someone has to do it.
