Your Dream Game

I always had this idea where there was a game that a combination of Civilization, Age of Empires/Empire Earth, Sim City where you controlled a civilization from start to finish on a scaled Earth. When I mean scaled Earth, everything was to scale.
What I mean by that is that your civilization like Civilization builds cities, possibly start as a city state but expand out. On a scaled Earth. So it would take weeks or months (in game) to move ground units. Everything takes the time to build in game just like real world.
As you progress and advance your tech, movements across the Earth becomes faster. All of the in game mechanics mimics real world. So if your progress from the horse to internal combustion or steam engine you get faster. Bigger populations means bigger army.
Basically recreate the real world but as game with real world mechanics. But obviously sped up. But you can slow it down so you can do your small adjustments. Also have a good enough programming that for example, you can leave your cities to grow under designed conditions you created. Last thing you want to do is be in control of 100 cities that you have to manage like 100 Sim Cities.
But you can tailor make each city into what they are strong with. Industrial city. A textile one. Economic one and so forth.
Like I said the game can be sped up and slowed down. It will not be a turn based game.
Can't think how to make it multi-player though without a turn based system where it would take months if not years for a conclusion.
