Repetition doesn't make it any more truthful. Spacey was cleared of the accusations.CharlesPhipps wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 6:23 amAside from doubting specifics from a child's account of their trauma, Spacey is not accused by Rapp alone but four other accusers.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 10:48 am Since Spacey now won all of his remaining trials, I have to say this: There was plenty reason to doubt Rapp's account. The place where it allegedly happened, a seperated bed-room, didn't exist in Spacey's home, which was a wide open studio appartement at the time. The party where it allegedly happened, didn't happen. And the way Spacey forced himself onto Rapp? Went down exactly the way as it was played in a theatre-piece that Rapp was part of. And there were many, many more such contradictions in his accounts. Either Rapp flat out lied or constructed a happening in his mind, based on occurances in his life at the time, due to an unspecified mental trauma.
Now I am curious what is going to happen to Spacey and what the "We got to belief the victim"-callers say. No, we do not have to "believe the victim". We just have to take allegations serious and investigate, whether the victim is indeed a victim and the perpetrator a perpetrator. Just like in Depp's case, it's not just important for the persecutors and the judge and juries to remain impartial, it's important that the public is, too.
He's guilty as fuck.
