They gave me a new appreciation for the Star Wars trilogy and Lucas in particular, even while lamenting some of the bad choices made along the way.

That was the stuff of legends. Or hell, his KOTOR review. It makes me eagerly await KOTOR 2 - assuming someone's requested it.

He has some really great insights. I found him by looking online to see if anybody else had the same thoughts on Voyager. Watching Voyager as a kid, I just thought it was an inferior Trek outing; but it didn't have much in the way of competition on TV at the time so eh. After leaving active duty and re-watching Trek including actually watching most of Enterprise for the first time since I gave it up around season 2 airing, but wow was Voyager's Captain Janeway just all over the place.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 6:27 am I just feel so privileged to be here, on the forums, discussing all his video reviews, with fellow followers of his craft. He's certainly helped me to view Trek in new ways, and before his reviews, I'd never watched Voyager or Enterprise, and thus never knew what I was missing - and so in that sense, he was doing me a public service by making sure I could watch the good, and avoid the bad. So yeah. He's like a superhero. He said his moniker is like a Silver Age DC villain. More like a Silver Age DC hero. And yeah, that would make Neelix his arch-nemesis!
So yeah it was great to find someone else that picked up on all the crazy Janeway stuff, and nothing else he does cracks me up like Evil Spider Queen Janeway, which is the origin of my doing artwork for him. Because I live in Tax-i-fornia money situation is always a heartbeat away from losing everything, I couldn't promise to be a pattern so I said I'd contribute in other ways and that's lead to me doing art for him which I do consider an honor and a privilege.
