Without going into spoilers it is The moment when Mako not only lost most of his support from the fans but also from the writers given how Karma finally starts catching up to him.

Yeah, this is pretty much what I expected; Hollywood is aware of things, but they don't understand the rationale and consequently make them ridiculous. Then again, when manual overrides don't work and the ship is being destroyed by cheese, you can tell not only was homework not done, it was burned as a warning to other homework not to show its face around there.
