Again, it makes no sense that the answer to the monster is, "Shoot it!" When I first saw this, I won't lie, I was confused, at how they built up this stalker of humans, this demon in the night, this shadow creeping up to you, steals something from you, and then kills you for food... and then the answer is "Mah guns!" Feels like a cop-out. As I said, I wish it was one of the few areas where they employed Trek-style technobabble, which is ironic given SF Debris said this episode was made specifically to show how not like Trek B5 was, but still, because they didn't, it makes no sense how the original soldiers didn't just... More Dakka this thing to death on that moonbase where Dwight Schultz was serving.
