Re: The Guyver Review
So why isn't Hamill playing the titular role? He want to much money or is the guy playing Shawn the best friend of the director?

I’m betting it’s because Hamill couldn’t/wouldn’t do the fighting stuff and stunts, or maybe he didn’t want to be replaced for big chunks of his screen time by a suit actor.

It's actually a name, at least. The other two sound like someone trying to get at it by guessing, but being entirely unfamiliar with common names.
Re: The Guyver Review
For that matter, why not keep it at Hamilcar? Hamilcar Barcas, IRL, was the brother of Hannibal Barcas, the great Carthaginian general of the Second Punic War.

Maybe he was viewed as too old to play the Sean character. After all this is supposed to be based on the Manga where Sho Fukamachi was a high school kid. So they wanted a young actor to play the lead and have Mark Hamill be the star pull for the movie.Kendrakirai wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 2:07 am I’m betting it’s because Hamill couldn’t/wouldn’t do the fighting stuff and stunts, or maybe he didn’t want to be replaced for big chunks of his screen time by a suit actor.
The movie itself didn't help itself of course.
I got nothing to say here.
