"Petike, then don't just propose it, send some money over to Chuck, along with your request."
Sorry, I unfortunately don't have many spare finances now, so no direct requests from me, for anything. Maybe in the future I'll finally donate a little. Quite honestly, I'd donate even for just general site upkeep and so on, I don't feel like making a request, as long as SF Debris gets the donation he needs. Great reviewer and deserves every penny.
Anyway, as the reviews of Escaflowne (The Vision of Escaflowne) are slowly drawing to a close, I think that one potential anime series Chuck could review in the future would be The Big O.
Honestly, it's got everything: Film noir science fiction, over-the-top mecha fights, surprisingly compelling and charmingly snarky robot girls, and a playful, self-ironic sense of humour (even the silly-but-catchy opening titles). The main character reminds me of a cross between Bruce Wayne and the young inspector Morse, if said characters had a huge mecha for defending the city they call home.
