Transformers Special

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

I completely agree. That episode totally needed to be a two-parter. Machine beings becoming biological, human in this case. There was a lot of room for exploration of that concept, perhaps even three or four episodes worth. Even Futurama knew where that could go when the Professor turned Bender into a human in one episode.

Ah, Centurions... good memories...of a toy commercial... Transformers, Go-Bots, Centurions, Sky Commanders, Street Sharks, Bravestar, TMNT, Dragon Flyz and Sky Dancers... I'm starting to think watching all that Cartoon Network, Boomerang and similar stations and program blocks back in the 90's might not have been the best of ideas.

You know what's really sad though, despite the choppy animation and sometimes sub par voice acting the actual toys never lived up to the expectations of the shows that were promoting them. The toys were so sub par to the actual show that even my imagination couldn't save them. Transformers were the closest thing to an exception, and that's because they were robots. Hell, I remember loving Small Soldiers because, at the time, it was my wildest fantasies brought to life.

Why can't cartoons be made like in the good 'ol days? First you make Fred Flintstone, then you whore him out to cigarette commercials.
If Chuck or a mod reads this feel free do delete my account. I would do it myself but I don't seem to be able to find a delete account option. phpBB should have such an option but I guess this isn't stock phpBB.

I will have to say, the power of obscurity took over during the review of the golden pond episode, and when he was talking about what Ramjat was based on, I was almost positive he was going to say Roger Ramjet.

I had a Centurions costume for Halloween one year. It was cheap and came from K-mart, but had fixture points on it to hook things. I remember little else. It was a while ago.

Only Human remains my favorite Transformers episode. Just for that one quick scene with Rodimus enjoying his "morning after" breakfast cup of coffee. Yep! It is so reminiscent of the classic James T Kirk "pulling on his boots" scenes. You know what he was doing. You don't have to be told what he was doing. And yeah, it's something depraved from somebodies fanfic. Or Deviantart offerings. And you just know Cobra Commander was somehow watching. Just because that's how he rolls.

I liked "Only Human" for the Autobots early on dismissing the human threat, then finding out (from both sides of the fight) that squishy little humans can on occasion be formidable.

The thing about the 80s is that everything turned into vehicles.
You had robots who turned into vehicles.

You had cyborgs who turned into vehicles. (Yes, they were technically cyborgs, they had organic brains)

You had vehicles that turned into other vehicles.

You had teenagers who turned into vehicles (alright, only the one).

You even had plant-men who turned into vehicles.

I came up with the Stormy Daniels thing, and then when finalizing the draft I thought of Bowsette, and the rest was obvious.
