No. I'm explaining the concern and why it's not treating the same group in contradictory ways. The OSGs aren't portrayed as victims in the end. Don't confuse me explaining a viewpoint with me having the viewpoint.

The Orion Slave Girls were NEVER portrayed as victims, that has been part of the point I have been going on about. You can call a dog a hydrant if you want but if you stick a hose up its ass it won't produce water.

You and others like you have been trying to - at the same time - state that the characters are oppressed and the writers are oppressing women.

You seem to ignore or be unable to understand the points I make. I believe we'll have to agree to disagree. Regardless, unless I see that you're understanding my arguments, I won't bother to respond.

Chuck stated that the aggressive people who are the bad guys in this episode are being VICTIMISED.

I give you the responses to the things you say, I just don't give them the way you want me to give them. If I were to say something like "those damn women are all the problem" you'd jump on that and use that to ignore the entire point of what I'm getting at.

I know that longform replies that go into detail seem to hurt people here for some reason, I can't be a concise as all of you by putting complex thoughts into a single sentence, so you'll have to bear with me on the whole as when I do longform posting, its because I get a very strange set of comments coming from the other side.

And as for the "you're an anti-feminist" and "chuck was saying its laughable", that's not what this entire discussion has been about, Chuck stated they're the victims for no other reason than that they're women.
Now you and Bridge Masher have both tried to defend this point going from "established entrenched sexism in society" or "don't like fanservice in my sci-fi."

And rather than argue about the validity of either of these, I've cut past them and got to the heart of the matter with this.
1. there is no established sexism in society, there's a bias TOWARDS women.
2. don't watch a show that you don't like.

Because anything other than those arguments you can try and dismiss the things I say as nonsense - you think its nonsense anyway but that's the point of these posts I'm making.

You and others are going to do this, not for anything massively shocking or dangerous.
You do it because you want to have the thing you want and only that thing.

Everything you've said has been the talking points used by feminists in one way or another. You use the same rhetoric.

I've already gone over this Fianna. Its a Television show, you are not required to watch it and no one else is required to watch it either.

If you find the idea of scantily dressed green skinned aliens who manipulate men into doing their bidding offensive.
Don't watch.

Don't state that because you are offended, every single other person in the fandom who disagrees with you has to change to suit your tastes.
