The V

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Anyway, let's get back to V. Remember V? That was a good miniseries.

Yes it was. I watched it as it was broadcast back in the day as a boy, it was great. I loved the sci-fi in the real world aspect, and I was still young enough to not see the twists (or go wtf over a space faring civilization stealing water) or read forward on the story but old enough to have some context.

But rewatching later as an adult, some things are more obvious how some things are going to play out like with the Jewish family or the utter beheading of human governments. And stealing water is just stupid.

Sadly it's not just the water they want, but also protein and cannon fodder.

Alas, I'm not sure that we can. :(

For example, V is an allegory about Nazis, and right now Nazis are a hot-button issue.

Lots of Star Trek episodes have a political stance, however one-sided or poorly articulated, and that will lead to discourse on the related ideologies. =/

Of course! Everyone will be complaining how Star Trek screwed up and Zeon should be the Nazi planet, not Ekos.

I've got some friends who haven't seen V (or who have only seen the recent remake), and I was wondering, for a newcomer, would it be better to show them one night at a time, or take the binge watch approach?

Your meaning is utterly opaque to me. Please explain?

White nationalist organizations barely have members and are irrelevant for the most part.
