Trigun

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

This is the first time I have seen this so I probably way off, but I am kind of getting Stephen King's The Dark Tower vibes from this. An ace gunslinger pursuing a guy across a desert with supernatural elements who wiped out someone close to the hero. Along the way they meet several colourful characters. Vash is obviously more comedic than Roland though.

My probably wrong musings aside, I do have a soft spot for anime of this era. Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Gundam. They have such a unique look about them compared to today, like someone really took care on every cel to produce a detailed work of art. I can understand why studios moved away from this though. Modern anime Is probably way more cost effective.
We used to argue whether Star Trek or Star Wars was better. Now we argue which one is worse.
