1) he brought on the bad Trek for Christmas on himself
2) Picard was not nearly as bad as you make it out to be.
I liked it. Was entertained by it. It's not great, is has many flaws, and I don't like the fate of a couple characters, but it was still decent and I will definitely watch season 2.
