This always felt like a DS9 episode that Brannon Braga might have written himself. It's kind of amazing that it isn't, because it even has his trademark nonsensical time travel mechanics.

This reminds me of my niggly annoyance with DS9 - O’Brien and Bashir don’t play darts properly. Always going for the bull instead of treble 20.

It is enraging, and so common on tv. So many people seem to think the bull is the highest scoring slot, and it just is not. They need to bring back Bullseye so people can get a proper darts education.

Damn convenient it only sends him a couple hours into the future to somewhere in the vicinity of where he'll be. It doesn't send him back in time. Doesn't send him to the spot he's currently in ( a bit of a problem on a space station in orbit).

Power of plot. Especially if you think about how him time traveling saves the station. As opposed to a Tuesday and all he sees is the matter recyclers overflowing.
