DS9 - Visionary

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

This always felt like a DS9 episode that Brannon Braga might have written himself. It's kind of amazing that it isn't, because it even has his trademark nonsensical time travel mechanics.

It is enraging, and so common on tv. So many people seem to think the bull is the highest scoring slot, and it just is not. They need to bring back Bullseye so people can get a proper darts education.

It is in US darts. The inner ring is only a double score line across the pond.

Huh, I never knew that. So that is another thing America does wrong then. Explains why so many people in American stories get it wrong too then, I guess.

Damn convenient it only sends him a couple hours into the future to somewhere in the vicinity of where he'll be. It doesn't send him back in time. Doesn't send him to the spot he's currently in ( a bit of a problem on a space station in orbit).

Power of plot. Especially if you think about how him time traveling saves the station. As opposed to a Tuesday and all he sees is the matter recyclers overflowing.
I got nothing to say here.

"Gets wrong" like leaving some vestige of flavor in their food? Or rejecting monarchy? Or driving more than 50 miles before collapsing from exhaustion and existential terror?

It would be fun to see a time travel story where the Horrific Disaster a character is trying to find out about and avert turns out to just be all the toilets overflowing in the guest quarters.

If it's anything like Navy ships, believe me that is pretty horrific.
