Re: TNG - Galaxy's Child
Concerning Geordi and women, I thought the strangest development was when the brought in Christy. In her first appearance, he's making romantic gestures to her and during a date she had to say she didn't feel that way for him and that they should stay friends. Then a few episodes later the writers completely switched the dynamic where Christy is totally interested in Geordi but he doesn't know how to ask her out. TNG was generally good with its own continuity, so that handling of Geordi and Christy was really bizarre.

Agreed. And come on, this is the 24th century. What was stopping her from asking him out?Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:20 am Concerning Geordi and women, I thought the strangest development was when the brought in Christy. TNG was a complete mixed bag as far as continuity I thought. Something along the lines of the X-files.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:20 am Concerning Geordi and women, I thought the strangest development was when the brought in Christy. Re: TNG - Galaxy's Child
It bungled a few things, like with the handling of Lore requiring an exposition retcon for his surprise reapparance in "Brothers". VOYAGER on the other hand...
