Christmas Show

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

The Ghostbusters episode was just a re-upload of an old video from 2015... Surely that wouldn't count... would it?

Well, even if it does, it doesn't contribute many valid films. Taking out adaptations, we're left with:
Interstate 60: Episodes of the Road
Whitecoats (aka Intern Academy)
Analyze That
Atlanta
Year One*
Evolution*
My Super Ex-Girlfriend*
No Strings Attached
Draft Day
Cast Away
What Lies Beneath*
Beowulf*
Flight

There's maybe 5 movies that could be characterized as SF here (and Beowulf is probably an adaptation). I suppose I60 could be argued to be SF, but from the summary, it just comes off as weird. What Lies Beneath is technically a 20th century film (the 21 century began in 2001), but that might be rules lawyering it.

I wonder if it is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which has always been held to be genre adjacent.

I can definitely see Chuck doing the 2005 War of the Worlds film.
It just feels so... why was this film made again?

Sure Chuck would do WotW, but not for this Christmas show. That's absolutely an adaptation, that's against one on the first hints he gave.

No. Though I admit I was tempted to just keep repeating "M. Night Shyamalan" during Ghostwatch.

Also, update!

Ok... So it must be an actor or actress from Marvel phase 1.

That list is not fully accurate. It likely misses some of the blink and you miss it cameos or mid credit scenes where they're only on for a few seconds or don't have dialogue.

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) (Probably missed his Hulk cameo)
Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) (Winter Soldier credits)
Cobie Smothers (Maria Hill) (Infinity War credits)
Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) (Avengers 2 illusion)

should also be on the list. Possibly some others, but those were the ones listed at 4 I thought might be 5.

Paul Rudd (Ant man) was decisively in 4 films, then in archive footage in Spiderman... so he maybe counts too.
