You're mixing a lot of stories here. The Spanish spread disease just by being there, even if their intentions had been 100% noble, the diseases they carried would have still wiped out most of the native population.

I'm pretty sure that Cortez used bioweaponry, too, but either way, the slavery, proto-concentration-camps, and forced migration certainly didn't help societies that already were at extreme risk of pandemic.
