I just finished watching SFDebris's review of Star Trek DS9's "Broken Link" ( https://sfdebris.com/videos/startrek/d498.php ) and I couldn't help but notice at the 13:28 mark that as they are beamed away Odo is positioned in much the same way as Adam is in the famous painting by Michelangelo, "The Creation of Adam", on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It really sticks out once you compare the two. The only difference being that Odo's right leg is cocked up so as to hide his now fully formed (and presumably functional) manly kibble and bits (or should that be "kibbles and bit"?) as opposed to how Adam let's everyone see that he is without a doubt going commando. Nothing really deep here, just an observation. Just curious if that was the intention of the director or writers or maybe something that one of the actors came up with on the spot. Or, is this simply a case of sometimes a naked guy pointing is just a naked guy pointing?

Since it's one of the most famous paintings in the world, I'd expect this was probably intentional. If not, then a subconscious influence may still have played a role. Whether it was the idea of the Director or the actor? Impossible to guess.
