But seriously excited for this one, this has been one of my most wanted reviews for a long time and in theory the final movie is coming out next year so a dub / review we could get in 2021.

Yeah, been looking forward to this review for a long time myself. Hopefully manages to be slotted in soon but given current circumstances, I don't mind waiting however long is needed.

On the whole I'm pretty against the movie. I'm all for wanting to do something different with the source material but I feel like the random time skip / ceased aging thing and the more active resistance bent are just making it into something Evangelion isn't.

Piano scene is great though.

Although not being confirm by the director Hideaki Anno himself. Several sources point out the script got a major rewrite after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami hit japan.

If this was true, I wonder what will be this film's original form if the earthquake never occur.

People were anticipating this video? Even though it’s pretty well established that the entire idea behind this video series (trying to understand Evangelion through watching fanservice films) is unbelivably dumb?

Its the same with Code Geass I made a topic about it and then it got delayed.
