in the original star trek review is SF singing the theme?

the theme song that SF uses in the intro for the OST reviews sound a lot like him. is this true or is my mind playing tricks on me.

More specifically it's from his first album, The Transformed Man. He's recorded six studio albums, a live album, and a spoken word album. Has Been, from 2004, is probably the best. His cover of Pulp's "Common People" is better than the original, IMO.
Sorta helps that that one was a duet with Joe Jackson.
