I was rewatching the "Carbon Creek" review, and thought of SF Debris's three rules of publication and presentation.

1) Inform
2) Inspire
3) Entertain

Name other works you think fit that criteria! For example, I'll go first. I think Independence Day fits the last two, inspires and entertains.
