Plan of Dissent Review

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

I take it Chuck either deliberately does not look here in case he encounters spoilers or does his best to keep his review in a sort of "My thoughts as they were while watching this" sort of thing. Remarkable restraint either way.

So far Fives has been MVP in these. He is one Clone who going all out to protect his fellow Clones. There is lot to admire in that.

To be as fair as possible to General Braindamage, you really don't want your troops ignoring orders to come up with their own battle plans as that can easily turn into chaos on the battlefield that makes everybody easy pickings for the enemy. As well, high-ranked officers likely have a lot more intel about the movement of other battalions, so as to coordinate efforts, and thus are in a better position to be making plans in the first place. He has every reason to court marshal.

But let's be frank, I've seen better battlefield tactics in Blackadder Goes Forth. I'm assuming the only reason he hasn't been hit by a "stray" blaster bolt yet is due to Jedi precog and reflexes.
