So, I've never seen any actual episodes of the animated series, but with what I saw in this review I'm left with a couple of thoughts in my head.
First off, what would the movie sequels had been like if Spock II had ever gotten involved in things. I mean, I doubt that his presence would have made much of a difference to Vger, but Khan at least would have done a double take. He also could have provided potential insight as to what was happening with Bones while he had Spock in his head. With the Voyage home... probably best he not leave the ship then. And in five he, um... OK actually come to think of it he probably wouldn't have made much of a difference to the plots. Aside from maybe giving his past self a real headache with his mere existence in the reboot. Which to be honest would probably be hilarious. Still, it seems a shame that apparently nothing was done with the fact of a super sized Spock clone out being out there. Was it ever brought up in any of the novels at least?
As for the second thing, during the, um, "interesting" music video toward the beginning of the review I was surprised to see Ranma getting felt up by Happosai at one point. I mean, most of that stuff was either from series already reviewed or easily could have come from knowledge of western animation gleaned from SF Debris' own childhood or having raised a couple of boys. But I thought he didn't have any experience with anime outside of what was requested. Unless... did somebody actually request Ranma 1/2 of all things? I mean, I suppose there are supernatural elements in the show but it's not exactly what I'd consider a part of the fantasy genre.
