Main highlight to this one was less the episode, which was fine enough for the modern era, was that the mention that after The Beginning there's going to be a video discussing s10 as a whole. Should be interesting as I'm rather conflicted about how it went given I came out generally positive. Thought it was a step up from s7-8 and Back to Earth, nicely brought it back to the s1 basics as Chuck mentions in this one, and yet I also only lasted one ep into s11 before I decided I couldn't do it anymore.

I'm glad he's still doing these and look forward to his working through the remaining seasons and the special/film.

I think Chuck was referring to The Beginning, the episode which topped off that season; which was not a special episode, but it was a damn good one. It did start life as one of the proposed Red Dwarf movie scripts at one point. Much love to Hoagie the Rogue-y, in it, wish they'd brought him back.
