Chuck got rather hilariously into blue comedy this review. Aside from the whole Achilles Spinchter thing, there's also, "to whack off one of the cyberraptors in a tender spot ... electronically speaking, I mean."

lol. I like how they're using Optimus's poisoned body as cover.

I have to be honest, the only thing I usually remember about this episode is Optimus Primal breaking into song.

I think that's what most people remember the episode for.

And I can understand why Chuck thought this episode was a bit of a mess, considering it has to 1) introduce TransMetal 2 "technology, 2) hint at the new character in the next, 3) introduce the "love triangle" between Cheetor, Silverbolt and Blackarachnia that really serves no purpose other than lead to elements that will appear in the two part Feral Scream.

Sadly, when Chuck opened this series up for requests a few years back and I commissioned a ton of episodes, prioritizing the multipart season enders and openers, I did not chip in the extra 50$ to get Feral Scream since I was already pitching in for 10 episodes at the time and I prioritized. Other people were covering some other episodes so I thought maybe someone else would get it, but alas.

So it's going to end up being the one big story gap in season 3 (along with some of the stand alones) unless something changed between several years ago and now.

-Possesion (the Starscream episode)
-The Agenda 1-3
-Optimal Situation (the season 3 start)
-Deep Metal
-Master Blaster
-Other Victories
-Nemesis 1-2

And the ones other people put up for that I'm aware of were
-Cutting Edge
-Proving Ground
-Crossing The Rubicon
-Other Visits 1 &2

So we'll have 9 of the 13 season 3 episodes, and the big season 2 two parter at some point. Not having Go With the Flow is no loss at all given its probably the worst episode of the series, and Changing of the Guard is only mildly important, but not having Feral Scream is going to be an annoying gap.

I've considered tossing in for more since, but given that the queue was/is approximately four years long I think I'd rather wait for an opening for something I'm really interested in seeing and willing to wait for like a movie or Gargoyles or something.
