Beast Wars: Proving Grounds

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Beast Wars: Proving Grounds

It's true that one could skip over this episode and not really miss out on much, which is ironic when taking into account SFDebris' remark on how it seems no one wants "Feral Scream" reviewed (and which is actually somewhat important despite its stretched plot).

However, I did appreciate Dinobot II's skills being put more on display in this episode and seeing some further development of Blackarachnia and Silverbolt's relationship.

Poor Optimus Primal, though. Season 3 was not kind to him after "Optimal Situation".

Kinda love Black Arachnia being taken aback that slapstick comedy shenanigans weren't working for once.

When Chuck opened up commissions for Beast Wars several years back, the person that requested this one backed all the major Black Arachnia episodes I believe, so they had 3 or 4 specific episodes they wee gunning for. This one got picked because it was a BA episode more than its overall importance.

I filled out as much as I could afford at the time, (10 episodes!) but I prioritized the multi parters and season enders. (Someone else pitched in for the season 2 "other Visits" multiparter that Chuck hasn't gotten to yet.) I'd hoped someone else would get to Feral Scream but alas. If I'd known four years ago I would have stretched my wallet just a bit more to squeeze those in.
