Another example of Londo & G'Kar saving what would otherwise be a dismal episode.

Honestly considering what this episode happens to set up. I think the Londo/G'Kar plot is the actual A plot and the telepaths are the B plot so they can cut away from the pair.

And I like how Chuck rephrases the authority system. Londo laments it is a facet of a monarchy. But similar stories also come from the military. A soldier standing guard on a foot path. It is an established guard point, but there is nothing tactical nor strategic to the position. Each officer has just continued what his predecessor had done. Finally they track things back to a very old and retired officer and ask him why the guard is still there. "What, is the paint on the bench not dry yet?"

I agree. The telepathy situation is just a buildup towards the climax and feels like the B plot.

Well the most enjoyable part of Season 5 was the relationship between G'Kar and Molari. Don't get me wrong, the other four seasons was good but this is where it reached it's cresendo.

I have always joked JMS could have taken them off of B5 made them neighbors and created a sitcom called Alien Neighbors and I would be 150% all about it.

It's not the first time there's been B5 episodes where the B plot is better than the A plot, TKO and Grey 17 is Missing come to mind.

Anything would be better than those A plots.
