current (14APR2018) forum issues fixes (Addressed)

Post by TheNewTeddy »

I spoke with a friend who is tech savvy - a deputy administrator of mine on another website - who said that the problems are that line 494 has some outdated code, and that line 5336 is trying to edit something that another line already edited.

hope this helps!

I haven't had much experience with PHP, so take whatever I say with a grain of salt, but a Google on the error message (and the text in the error message itself) suggests that the version of PHP may have to go back, or the version of the BB software may have to come forward.

It looks to me like posts with BB codes don't make it in.

You're both right but until I have access to the ftp server I can't do anything about it.

So is that why I can't post anything?

You can post, you just can't use any bb code in your reply (including quoting another person).

Thanks for the effort, regardless, Tex. I've been on the other side of "The software doesn't work! OMG!"
